This Mother’s Day felt different.
No gifts, no big surprises, it’s just time.
Time with my toddler, just the two of us. 💛
We had a simple 3-day weekend.
Picnic lunch on Friday.
Pancakes, tent-building on Saturday, and water play on Sunday.
Nothing fancy, just real joy. And that was everything.
I felt it in my heart:
This is what motherhood is about—
watching my child enjoy life, and being right there with him. 🌱
Motherhood has changed me deeply.
I have become more grateful for the little things.
Even my hair—I used to wish I had less.
Now, going through hair loss, I see how precious it truly is.
I’m thankful for what has left, and for the health I have.
My husband’s quiet support has touched me too.
He notices what I need, and shows love in such tender ways.
It reminds me I’m not alone in this journey. 💫
And my parents—
they traveled far to see me when I gave birth.
Because of my son, I got to reunite with them.
That meant the world to me.
We take trips for our son, to build memories.
But those trips also opened my eyes.
I realized how long I had taken life, my body, and my loved ones for granted.
Now, I’m starting to see what really matters.
My purpose isn’t crystal clear yet,
but I know one thing:
If I serve others with love, the path will unfold. 🤍
